When we stood there, and saw this view in the picture, I litterlally was speechless. To me, this view was and is the most beautiful view I’ve ever been able to witness. Honestly, Yosemite is our favorite National Park, as it has it all and is so versatile. We truly had such a phenomenal time there and since then, we are counting the days to get back! So if you’re planning to go to California, this place has to be on your agenda!

After exploring the beauty of Lake Tahoe, we continued our honeymoon journey with an unforgettable 6-day trip to Yosemite National Park. From dramatic cliffs to peaceful valleys and wildlife encounters, this trip had it all (and a little drama).

Half Dome via Mist Trail & John Muir Trail (16 miles; permit required)
Upper Yosemite Falls (6.6 miles)
Taft Point via Pohono Trail (2.3 miles)
Clouds Rest Trail (13.5 miles)
Bridalveil Falls (0.9 miles)

Glacier Point for the most incredible view onto Half Dome & Nevada Falls
Tunnel View Point for the perfect overlook over Yosemite Valley (especially at sunrise)
Cathedral Beach Picnic Area
Devil’s Elbow & Yosemite Valley View for the perfect view onto El Capitan
The Dawn Wall for spotting people who climb El Capitan
Wawona Road for the perfect Sunset
We really had such a good time in the Yosemite National Park, and there is still so much to to and see for us! Having only five days was just not enough, especially for the first time. However, we learned so much and got to inspired by this place so these memories will last forever!
